Hello everyone! I hope all is well for each of you! Checking in to give you a quick update on the Chronicles of the Orphan King.

Book two–The Forging of the Twelve–is with the editor and the completion date for that is set for October 31st. After that it will go to the proofreader and to formatting. It is currently available for pre-order on Amazon. I’m excited to get it published and hope you are looking forward to it as well.

In the meantime, I have continued working on book three–The Diaspora of the Twelve. I hit 100,000 words on it last night. I’d estimate that puts me at somewhere between 40 to 45% completed. I’ve been able to find some extra time to write over the past week and have made great progress. Some really interesting things in store for the Twelve and I can’t wait to get this one done for y’all.

That said, I won’t be rushing anything. When I started this, I was writing a book like I’d want to read. I didn’t have a formula or a page count–I had a story. The same holds true. I am going to write the best books I can and tell the story the way it needs to be told–no short cuts.
