Hello everyone,

May Update — The Diaspora of the Twelve

Over the past several months, I have spent a great deal of time wandering the roads, ruins, and hidden places of the Three Lands. What began as another chapter in The Chronicles of the Orphan King, has become something larger—a story about separation, endurance, and what remains when the world breaks apart.

I’m happy to say that the draft of The Diaspora of the Twelve is now complete.

The next couple of months will it will be with beta readers, back with me for revision, and then to the editor. There is still work to be done, but a release date is not far off. In the meantime, I will be working on Book IV.

Book III is the most ambitious installment in the series so far and many threads finally come together. Ancient powers awaken. Old loyalties fracture. Hidden kingdoms step into the light. And the Twelve, bound together by prophecy and necessity, begin to scatter across a world descending toward war.

Yet at its heart, this remains a story about hope.

Not easy hope. Not naive hope. But the stubborn belief that mercy, loyalty, sacrifice, and fellowship still matter–in fact, matter the most in the shadow of collapse.

Thank you to everyone who has followed this journey so far. Your messages, reviews, recommendations, and encouragement have meant more than I can properly express.

The cover reveal for The Diaspora of the Twelve is only days away now.

The world is breaking.

But hope remains.

Nathanael
